Interior Decorator

Kelly Hoppen

I went to an open day at Leeds Met University and the tutor to my Interior Design course mentioned Kelly Hoppen the Interior Designer in her talks, so i decided to have a look at her work.

her work is very minimalism and very modern. she is focused on the interior decorating side rather than the architecture side of interior design which is what i would like to get into one day after university.

She incorporates a colour scheme that is all very similar without adding garish colours to stand out. the furniture she includes is very simple and now curly designs at the end of the chairs, just straight sides and sharp corners. very futuristic modern look.

she has designed celebrities houses and hotels. i would certainly like to stay in her hotels shes designed. you can appreciate the simplistic design even though its not very complicated. it just shows you don't have to do much for it to look impressive.
